1921… February… The Red Army invades the Democratic Republic of Georgia. The last train departs from Tbilisi. The government has abandoned the capital. Everyone is trying to flee the country — the aristocracy, the intelligentsia, representatives of various political parties and social classes. They all struggle to board the train, yet none of them knows where it is headed or what trials await them ahead. Inside the carriage, politicians and party representatives argue endlessly, blaming one another for what has happened. Although each of them carries their own pain, their own truth, and a completely different perspective on the unfolding events, they are united by a shared feeling — love for their homeland and the faith that one day they will return.
