Merchant Martiruza dreams to get the invisible magic hat, to watch his young wife Susani. The same wish kills Martiruza,s servant Kikoli, who is in love with the lady,s servant Vardo. Young officers, Svimon and Ivane, who are their guests, find out about it. Martiruza and Kikola both are jealous the officers. The officers feel sad and try to have a good time anyway. They decide to make a laughing-stock of Martiruza and Kikoli. The officers deseive the bouth, with the help of Frenchman madmuazel Gugu. They give them ordinary hats instead of the magic ones. Fooled Martiruza and Kikola think, they are invisible and the officers have a good time. Everything clears up in finale. Deceived Martiruza dreams to get invisible magic hat again...
