Tskhinvali Theater performed the play "Jako" on May 21, 2016, at the Side International Theater Festival (Turkey ), with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia. Theatrical groups from the United States, Italy, Poland, Germany, Turkey and Georgia took part in the international festival. "Jako" won the main prize of the International Theater Festival. The oldest actor of the theater Neli Salamadze and Managing Director Zaal Tediashvili were awarded with prizes for the active partnership of the festival. The Director Gocha Kapanadze, was awarded a special prize by the chairman of the jury, Mrs. Stefanie Lukner.
